David Lloyd
Founder & Visionary
David Lloyd has spent a lifetime shaping how we play, move, and connect. A former professional tennis player and British Davis Cup captain, he transformed the UK’s leisure scene in the 1980s with the first indoor racquets and fitness centres.
With Sports Gardens, he’s reimagining family recreation once again — creating a space where sport, technology, and discovery come together for the next generation.
Ersan Ilyasova
Founding Shareholder & Sports Consultant
Ersan Ilyasova is a former NBA power forward with a 15-year career, best known for his time with the Milwaukee Bucks. Born in Turkey and moving to the U.S. in 2005, he also played in Detroit, Philadelphia, and Orlando before retiring in 2021 to focus on family life in Florida.
At Sports Gardens, Ersan brings his elite-level experience to help shape a new kind of sporting environment for all ages.
Ryan Kennedy
Property Aquisition
Ryan Kennedy is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with 35 years of experience in the leisure, restaurant and retail property sector. He previously led the UK Retail High Streets team for 10 years at global adviser JLL.
Ryan’s role at Sports Gardens is to identify our pipeline of sites, negotiate the commercial terms and see their delivery.
Pushkar Marathe
Food & Cocktails
Pushkar Marathe is an award-winning chef of great acclaim. His recent nomination as Best Chef: South USA semi-finalist by the James Beard Foundation is a testament to his talent, leadership and team inspiration. His Indian heritage and international 3-decade career sees him produce daring, outstanding and varied menus across genres and their restaurant range.
Andy Dugard
Food & Cocktails
Andy Dugard is a seasoned restaurant owner and co-founder of some of Florida’s finest dining brands, including Stage and Ela Curry and Cocktails. His lifelong experience has seen him lead the expansion and the dining management of global and US brands, including Disney, Planet Hollywood and Meat Market.
